My Client is looking for an experienced software developer who has solid experience programming
in Java, utilizing SQL and web-based HTTP applications and/or services.
He or she needs to be a self-starter, has the ability to work from
requirement and feasibility/analysis documents, create a detail design
specifications and test plans, and write high quality software in a
timely fashion. This java developer must have the ability to work with SQA
engineers in helping to debug and resolve functional and system level
problems. A java engineer with experience operating in a professional
services role is desirable.

The java software engineer must be versed in:
* Java-based software development
* Generating and parsing XML schemas using Java
* Relational database programming, including strong experience with SQL
programming
* Development of distributed applications and /or web-based services,
including a demonstrated understanding of the HTTP protocol and
authentication methods (e.g., HMAC, REST)
* Demonstrated experience in writing and formally reviewing design
documents
* Experience in formal code inspection techniques, and
* Working directly with SQA engineers during the design, implementation,
and the testing process
* Working directly with customers in an outwardly facing role
