3-4 Presenters will each talk for around 15 minutes on a general theme of quality and performance.

Mark Derricutt will talk about Active vs Passive code quality checks - an overview of IntelliJ IDEA's live inspections and a peak at whats coming in IDEA 7.

Sarah Fairbairn will talk about practical tips on how to improve the quality of your code by using the code review tool PMD. Talk will demonstrate how to use the tool, integrate it with Eclipse/IntelliJ and her suggestions on the best use of tools such as PMD.

Richard Vowles will cover a few things you can do before that code goes into production to enhance your code quality from both a static (code quality) and dynamic (runtime) viewpoint.
