Hi Java Guys,
Here are the results of the 3 polls we conducted last year. Contracting or Permanent Persistence Technologies My Comments: And the clear winner is Hibernate followed by DAO/JDBC Combination. From the polls it certainly looks like EJB3 is picking up, while EJB2 is doomed (no wonder)! Choice of Application Servers My Comments: JBoss is clearly in the lead. It is followed by WebSphere. Surprisingly, I expected BEA WebLogic and WebSphere to be in a tie. But Oracle's iAS beat WebLogic! Could people who voted for [Others] category email me with the name of the App Server they are currently using. Many thanks for your active participation in LJMG. |
