- Hi. I'd be keen to meet up with people interested in Java, Groovy, etc. I've got quite a bit of IT background, and I'm looking to establish my Java development career. Happy to chat, share and try stuff out. Cheers, Andrew

I've trained in Java in my own time since 2000. Have yet to secure a role.
- Would you be interested in hearing about any new Java positions at present?

Absolutely: particularly ones more on the JSE side, which are looking to take on a pretty bright guy who wants to get established, but doesn't have a track record in commercial software development. Have good academic background.
- What are your favourite technologies at the moment?

I'm looking to get into Groovy properly - really powerful and can ramp up your productivity... The Java Posse seem to be raving about Scala a fair bit as well: so I'm interested in that too.
