This is a hands-on course designed for software development professionals who are planning to write Java applications. Class participants should have programming experience in C or C++ and have knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts.

Learn Java programming directly from "The Java Architect". Take your skills to a whole new level through this introductory Java Programming course. In this course you will learn how to:


  • Write stand-alone applications using the Java language

  • Read and write data using Java streams

  • Use packages and inner classes to create well-scoped classes

  • Implement Object-Oriented concepts using Java features, such as: classes, interfaces, and references

  • Write Java programs that interface with databases via JDBC

  • Use threads to improve performance of Java programs


Class participants should have programming experience in C or C++ and have knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts. This is a hands-on course designed for software development professionals who are planning to write Java applications.
