The New Jersey Java (Study) User Group - JSUG

JSUG or the Java (Study) User Group is a new social networking/study group for individuals interested in development using Java technology.

JSUG is targeting developers new to Java (myself), students, developers coming from other language(s) and/or hobby developers, to meet on a frequent basis and discuss/study things like:

- Syntax
- Best practices
- Java API
- Algorithms
- Objects
- Class methods and properties
- J2EE Specification
- Web apps
- Containers (tomcat, jboss...)
- Servlets, JSPs, JSF
- EJB
- Architecture
- Certification

Let's tackle Java together; learning from and motivating each other to explore java on all levels.

As more new members join, I will schedule an introduction meeting where we can lay the foundation for future meetings. Get involved, so we can get going quickly and start doing some Java!
