Position: We need several strong Java developers to assist the transformation of the Human Intelligence (HUMINT) process. We are accelerating the HUMINT process and increasing the productivity of human intelligence collectors and analysts worldwide in order to meet national decision-maker and warfighter needs. They will be working in a mid-sized team in a fast paced development environment. The team is highly motivated and includes experienced and passionate HUMINT professionals. Our application has been deployed for over 1.5 years now and is considered a large success within the intelligence community. Our team is proud of what we have accomplished.







This position requires a solid J2EE object oriented web-based application development background. They will work on all aspects of our web applications from the GUI/JSP's to the backend O/R mappings. We prefer candidates with experience in open source frameworks and API's. They should be the type of person that stays up on current technologies. They will need clear communication skills as this position is at a client site and will require frequent interaction. They need software design skills and need to feel comfortable writing unit tests as a part of the development process.







Technology Used: Java 1.5, Apache, Tomcat, Endeca, Axis, SOAP, JSTL, Hibernate, Struts, Velocity, JUnit, Oracle/SQL, JavaScript, XML, DHTML, CSS, AJAX







Toolsets Used: Rational ClearQuest, ClearCase, Requisite Pro, IntelliJ, Eclipse, JProbe.







Skills required: J2EE, Java 1.5, web and application server experience, MVC, data mapping, XML, DHML and JavaScript









Assets: Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss, Lucene, Spring, portlet development, EJB, LAMP, RoR, OJB, ORM, MVC, XSLT, JMS, database design, java architecture, pattern based development, RUP, Linux, Solaris, and HUMINT
