JOB DESCRIPTION
For one of our clients, we are currently looking for J2EE Architects who would be providing software architecture and systems design for client?s asset management and back office applications and processes

Job Responsibilities:
? Perform software architecture and systems design
? Specific knowledge of SOA, BPM, Messaging, Data Warehousing, end-to-end architecture
? May lead project teams in a hands-on capacity
? Lead complex/major efforts regarding the requirements analysis, design, development and testing of software applications
? Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies
? Recommend new technologies
? Recommend solutions that are aligned with business / IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards
? Knowledge of industry best practice, patterns and standards
? Strong ability to analyze functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions
? Serves as Subject Matter Expert
? Resolves complex applications and technical problems
? Provides mentoring and training to junior staff

Qualifications:
? Minimum 8 years of IT experience including 5-7 years of experience in designing and developing J2EE Applications
? Hands-on experience in J2EE Architecture, BEA Portal, JMS, MQ Series, Oracle, Informatica and SOA
? Experience/Knowledge of UML, Together for Eclipse, and related design skills a huge plus
? Knowledge of investment and insurance company products and operations, cost accounting operations, regulatory / GAAP accounting a huge plus
? BS Degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration a must
