At Honesty Online, our mission is to become the standard for verifying real-life identity online. We "proof" a person's identity and perform background checks that allow Internet users to establish their credibility in their online personal and business relationships. Our first target market is online dating and social networking.

Honesty Online is a funded start-up company, led by experienced, successful entrepreneurs. We're looking for an ace Java developer who wants to make a huge impact in an informal, high-energy, fun environment.

We're looking for technical depth and breadth, commercial software-development experience, and an appreciation of consumer software in the Web 2.0+ world. In addition you should have:

- experience and savvy with Struts, Hibernate, Spring, Tomcat, Apache, and MySQL
- XML Xcellence
- CSS/JavaScript skillz
- excellent communication skills
- an ability to roll with a sometimes crazy, never boring start-up environment
- amazing Java chops, period

Familiarity with SSO technologies, background-check data providers, Linux system administration, and agile engineering process are all pluses.
